Make Up Games and Sweat

Sweating is undignified and not something we like to talk about very much. Unfortunately, sweating is also very much part of life for many of us. There isn’t much we can do to make the body sweat less short of getting acclimated to a new climate, but sweat does more than make us uncomfortable. It can also destroy your make up games.

Sweaty make up games are the worst because they feel gross, and the sweat building up behind your makeup can also make you break out. The trick to dealing with heat, sweat and make up is to choose your make up items carefully. For example, you’ll want to leave your skin free to breathe. A lightweight powder will help control shine without clogging pores. A bit of waterproof mascara will darken lashes and not rub off with sweat either. Also consider leaving your face bare in the heat of the day and just wearing makeup games at night to avoid sweating the make up off as well!

Make Up Games and Bright Eyes

It seems like everywhere I look these days there are bright eyes and even brighter eye shadow. The 1980's had bright blue eye shadow. but even those shades of blue are nothing compared to the bright colors that are dotting the eyelids of the fashionable set. Look in any fashion magazine or check inside the neighborhood high school and you'll find hot pink and crystal green eye shadow colors.

The bright colors are fun to wear and they make your outfit look even more interesting. If you were to put on a bright green sweater, you can easily complement that look with bright green eye shadow. Or if green isn't your favorite shade, you can enjoy the same amount of fun by wearing blue, purple or virtually any metallic shade you could ever possibly imagine. When it's all said and done, the make up games create a fabulous look.

Make Up Games and Fashion

It’s very fashionable right now to have a bunch of different eye shadow colors competing on your eyelids. While it may be stylish, it’s bound to go down in history as a fun time period – much like the blue eye shadow of the 1980’s was so much fun for fashion as well. Make up games are always a great deal of fun, and if you like playing with cosmetics, you can online imagine the possibilities that can come from exploring the options that our current cast of colors can bring.

When you start to play with eye shadow in particular during your make up games, it used to be that eye shadow should match your face. Now, however, we’re encouraged to make sure that your eye shadow matches your outfit or fashion – this is courtesy, of course, of the many bright color options available. If your outfit is green, your eye shadow should contain a bit of the green. If it’s blue, be sure to blend in some blue as well. It’s all an adventure and that is what makes it so much fun!

Make Up Games and the Office

I read an article the other day that said you must wear make up to be taken serious in the office. I’m not sure if I agree completely, but there is probably some merit to the article. In this particular piece, the author was trying to help young people understand how important it is to dress well and play make up games. I think it’s all a matter of opinion.  There are many successful women who don’t slather on a full face of make up every day anyhow.

I don’t normally wear make up to work, so playing intense make up games every day would drive me nuts. What I do use, however, is a heavy duty moisturizer and highlighter to ensure that my face looks healthy and clean. A bit of mascara and some lip gloss completes the look. If you have nice skin tone you can present a clean and healthy face to the world every day without layers of make up. Think of this as make up games for good reason.

Make Up Games and Funky Eyeliner

Everywhere I look these days I’m finding girls – and guys – rocking some interesting eyeliner. These make up games are fun to look at, of course, and I’ll admit that I’m intrigued by them. What would I look like if I were wearing bold eyeliner? Perhaps I should add a few swipes for the day and find out. Should I use white liner? Black liner? Maybe I need a bit of extra flare with cat eyes and little dots.

Before anyone ever tries to play make up games with eyeliner, you absolutely have to go through a training process. Fortunately, there are many different videos and instructional how-tos out there now that will show you how to apply all sorts of make up items, including wild eyeliner. Practice at home first and be sure that you’re comfortable with the look you’re creating. Once you head to school with wild eyeliner, you’re set for the day, so you want to be sure that you’ve mastered it before you leave!

Make Up Games and Fake Eyelashes

I’m starting to wonder if all the make up games with fake eyelashes are really necessary. Every time I turn around I find someone else wearing a bit batch of fake eyelashes. Dark, luscious lashes are absolutely all the rage – who doesn't want to look like a sultry diva with half-closed, sexy eyes? But the problem is this: no matter how realistic the fake eyelashes are designed to be, they still just look so very fake.

Take for example the recent episode of Glee. Rachel was sporting her super sexy look and trying to seduce the new college boy. She was staring at him with some serious intensity – her eyes closed, she looked sexy and I couldn't look away from the big, black fake eyelashes she was wearing. Sure her outfit was complete.

She looked the part, but it bothered me that the fake eyelashes were so fake that they didn’t even look real in onscreen make up games. I can’t imagine there would ever be any that appeared real when you’re looking someone face-to-face. Perhaps we should just ban them from “real life” and just enjoy fake eyelashes as part of a costume.

Make Up Games for Young Girls

Young girls are naturally curious about makeup and various make up games. Fortunately, the online versions of make up games makes it possible for these younger girls to explore their own sense of style with make up as well as learn how to best apply the make up so that it flatters their natural beauty rather than distracting from it.

Playing make up games online is a great way for young girls to learn a lot about the different types of make up and how to actually apply the items and make it look good. With a girl’s face online, the make up games, let young would-be make up artists create a look that flatters features and uses the most common cosmetics. When the you’re finished playing online, you can then use the same tricks of the trade to create a look for yourself in the mirror. It’s amazing how much you can learn by applying make up online before you try it out yourself at home.

Make Up Games and Sales

This isn’t the season to find the best sales of the year on make up. Those days are right around the holiday season. But this is the time of the year when you can enjoy trying out new sorts of make up to decide what you like and what you want to buy when it does go on sale. Consider the crowds in December. Clinque may be having the greatest sale of your life, but you’ll have to force your way through the crowd to buy anything, and how do you even know what to buy?

To determine your best choices, you should do your browsing now. Understand that this means you’ll likely need to buy a few small things, but you can save the big purchases for later this year. Have your make up done at the counters to learn about the different items and to see how they work. Right after school starts is generally pretty slow in the department stores. Bring a friend after school to get your make up done and you’ll be able to get attention and ask all of your questions about items. Then, you can grab them when they really are on sale this winter.

Make Up Games and No Make Up

Normally when you think of make up games, you imagine all of the different sorts of looks that you can create with make up. But there is one style that is challenging to create with make up, although if you can make the style work, you’re truly gifted with make up games. The end goal of this project is to appear as if you’re wearing no make up at all.

In most make up games, you’re looking for styles you can wear on your face to draw out your eyes and highlight your lips. Lipsticks, eyeliner and eye shadow are all part of this game. But what if you had to draw out features without showing any of the normal make up items that you use? You’ll be stuck creating a new look using only nudes, neutrals and the most natural colors in lip gloss and mascara. But it can be done.

Creating a nude look on the face is not only exciting, but it’s freeing as well. Cover the spots and make your eyes pop – but do it all so naturally through make up games that others simply don’t notice what it is that you’ve been up to.

Make Up Games for Back to School

Everyone wants to make a good impression on new friends as they start the school year and this year is going to be no exception to that rule. Make up games are a natural part of getting ready to go back to school. You need to know what looks good on you and what sort of make up is the best type to really make you features stand out without looking as though you've painted up your face for a big night out on the town.

Your school make up games should be pretty simple and straightforward. You'll want to wear make up that appears light and natural most of the time. Sometimes you might have a bit of fun wearing some bright eye shadows and eyeliner, but just about every morning you should be able to swipe on your five minute face and be out the door - ready for a grand adventure that your school day brings.

Make Up Games and Crying

There is nothing that messes up make up games faster than freshly shed tears. Crying will destroy just about any make up games you’ve tried to arrange on your face and short of willing away tears, there’s not much you can do to prevent some trauma, but if you plan ahead you can certainly come out looking decent enough after a good crying spell.

If you’re going to cry – you’re anticipating tears – you can easily use waterproof make up for your make up games. Mascara is easy to find in a waterproof formula. Waterproof lipstick is easy enough as well. The tricky part of your make up is to find a base and powder that won’t get too damaged by tears. Perhaps the best way to salvage your cheeks and under eyes after a good crying jag is to simply bring along a compact so that you can dab a bit on to repair the damage.

The Basics of Make Up Games

Make up games are one of the most appealing form of dress up game available online. In the make up games, you’ll be given a doll’s face on the computer screen. Your job is to then apply the various shades and sorts of make up to the doll so that she’s wearing a full face of make up. With the make up games, you have dozens of selections of colors and styles, and the more interactive games let you do a bit more customization than the basic versions.

With the make up games, you’re able to see what the make up items look like on the doll, and often you’re able to do some fun treatments with the hairstyles as well. Doing both hair and make up on the virtual doll is almost the same as doing hair and make up on a friend of yours. Who knows? Maybe you can play the online make up games with your friend and then sit down together and use the tips and tricks you just learned to apply your own make up.

Make Up Games and Dark Circles

Dark circles are a problem for many women – some are hereditary and others are simply the product of bad sleep habits or a rough night. But what is most important for make up games is knowing how to make those dark circles virtually disappear with just a few sweeps of the make up brush. And you can mask dark circles under the eyes with a few tricks.

Use a lighter foundation rather than a concealer. Concealers are often too light and bright to blend naturally over a large area. Use instead a foundation that is a shade or two lighter than the one you’re using on the rest of your face.

Pat the concealer in place. Using a sponge or your finger, carefully pat the foundation into place under the eye. Pat it so that it covers the area you’re trying to address completely and so that it is smoothly blended and appears natural.

Blend well with your regular foundation. You’re playing color tricks, so blend the light foundation under your eyes with your regular foundation just below it. The end result should appear to be totally seamless and smooth.

Make Up Games and Fake Tans

If you enjoy make up games, you probably already know the power of the tan. A tanned face appears healthier and many of the fine lines and veins that are visible under pale skin disappear. Of course, when you get a tan from the sun, you’re playing with danger – that same tan that looks so healthy now is actually harming your skin well into the future when you’ll have more than just fine lines to deal with as you age. Fortunately, you can enjoy make up games without having to scortch your face under the sun – you just need a bit of fake tanner.

There are several types of fake tanning products, but among these the two that you need to know most are bronzers and aerosol tanning sprays. Bronzers are products designed for your face. They are essentially a special type of powder or perhaps a cream that you apply to your skin and it instantly appears a few shades darker – as if you have a light tan. When you use bronzer, however, your face may suddenly appear tanner than your arms, legs or even neck. To keep things in balance, use a spray tanner to give the rest of your body a light tan as well. It makes for a much more satisfying make up game.

Make Up Games and Eye Cream

There are a ton of creams and potions available out there and among them is the tiny bottle of eye cream. Eye cream is a nice addition to your make up games because it helps your make up games go on more smoothly as well as helping to soothe your eyes after a long day. When you use eye cream, you're able to reduce the puffiness and swelling that you might find on your upper and lower eyelids every morning.

The cream also helps to minimize fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. That doesn't mean that it is just for older ladies, however. The more moisture you have around your eyes, the smoother and brighter your eyes will look. Using eye cream in your makeover games will help to give your fragile skin the moisture it needs while keeping the area smooth. The eye cream will also help to prevent future damage to this area of your face - a critical element of getting older and still looking great!

Make Up Games and Car Trips

It might not seem like a great idea, but if you have a few of your friends riding in a car together for hours at a time on a long car trip, there is no reason that you can’t use that time to perfect some of your make up games. Make up games are a fun way to try out new looks with cosmetics and colors and if you’re able to bring along your make-up kit and brushes, you can certainly use the make up items while you’re riding in the car – it makes a nice break from listening to music or reading a book at least.

Part of the fun of make up games in the car is the mystery of what your friend is doing. There are not many mirrors readily available to the passengers in the backseat, so settle down and get ready for some run the next time you’re riding with friends. Take turns doing each other’s make up games and then be ready for some raised eyebrows when you stop. Imagine walking into a rest stop with club make up on or perhaps some serious fake eyelashes. Of course, the whole thing is all about fun and games – and that just makes it more of an adventure than ever.

Make Up Games and Summer

The heat of the summer is quickly closing in and the hot summer months means only one thing – less make up. I wish everyone knew that make up games need to change when the weather warms up, but I guess that’s just part of my job to let them know that things need to change and that they need to stop caking on the make-up and start making it just a wee bit easier to put together a look for the months when skin should be dewy and fresh looking.

The sun is out and that means that you definitely need to start your make up games with a moisturizer that contains some sunscreen. Slather on your moisturizer in the morning and then add a light layer of foundation if you’d like. It might be even better to skip straight to the part where you dust on a bit of powder over the shiny parts of your face. A dash of blush on each cheek, a swipe of mascara and then you need only one more thing to look your best over the summer – some kissable, fun lip gloss with plenty of shine!

Make Up Games and Masques

There are many different beauty treatments you can choose to help relax your face, improve your skin tone and remove blemishes. While peels and creams have gotten a lot of press lately, they aren’t the only popular treatment available. You can even make your own masques at home using ingredients like oatmeal, honey and avocado to cleanse and purify your skin. In fact, the natural masques you create at home may be more effective than anything you’d buy in the store anyhow.

To use the masques, spend some time preparing by showering and washing your hair. Slick your hair back and use a tie to hold it away from your face and throw on some comfortable, relaxing clothing. Then, carefully use your fingertips to smooth the masque onto your face, careful to avoid your eyes and your mouth. Once the masque is in place, relax and lean back while the treatment works on your skin. After a time, you’ll want to wash away the masque and your make up games will be smooth, fresh and bright again.

Make Up Games and Permanent Make Up

There are some make up games that are more permanent than others. Permanent make-up or tattoos on the face are one way that many women are looking to improve their looks in the morning with very little effort. The make up that is applied through tattoos make it easy in the morning to get ready. After all, when you first wake up in the morning your lips would already be pink or red and your eyes are already lined in dark liner so that your eyes are already large and framed.

Permanent make up isn’t usually the only make up you need in the morning if you’re looking to have a totally freshly made up face. A coat of powder would help to smooth away uneven skin tones and a coat of gloss over lined and colored lips would make the bright red lips shine more enticingly. Tattooing on make up games can certainly add color to your face, but they can’t add shine or glitter – those are elements that only true make up games can create through actual cosmetics.

Make Up Games and Night Cream

While not something you'd normally think of in terms of make up games, night creams are an essential part of a make up games routine. The heavy night cream that you smear on your skin is the chief moisture that your tired skin receives at the end of the day. Pick a heavy cream that isn't full of oils if you're hoping to avoid acne, of course, but do find one with rich moisture and plenty of active ingredients to help delay any signs of aging.

Once you've selected your night cream, be religious about washing your face every night and then slathering it on before bed. You can even add special eye creams and other items to your night routine, but the basis of it all should be the night cream that helps to smooth your skin, plump it up with moisture and keep it hydrated and line-free as you sleep. When you wake in the morning, the night cream should help your skin appear smoother and more rested than it would be otherwise - perfect for make up games!

Make Up Games and Spring Colors

With spring in the air, it’s important to choose make up colors that are flattering as well as functional for the warmer months. Bright, hot weather requires lighter colors than the dark cool colors of the winter. There shouldn’t be many smoky black or brown eyes showing up now. Instead opt for make up games using purples or greens shades. You can still do a neutral, but opt for a lighter neutral than you used just a few months ago.

The fun part of summer and spring is to find the shades of make up games that you wouldn’t normally wear and give them a try. Try a bit of sparkle, or spend a long weekend playing with bronzer so that you can return to school with a healthy tan and bright, pretty skin. You can even play with a fake tanner that is more permanent just to see what sort of result you can create to truly celebrate the warmer months of spring that will turn into summer before we know it.

Make Up Games and Cleaning Out

As you clean out your room this spring, use the opportunity for spring cleaning to remove some of your old make up items as well. We all tend to keep make up for much longer than we really should, and it does feel a bit wasteful to give up on mascara that is still half full or a lipstick that we’ve barely used, but if your make up is past the expiration date, it’s likely time to get rid of it and buy a new one.

Eye makeup like mascara is one of the most important things to purge as you go through your cleaning process. Mascara and some eyeliner can pick up bacteria from eyes and fester. It also expires a bit faster than other, dryer make up items like powder or blush. In your make up games, throw out things you never use or that seem expired.

If you can’t bear to do it, put them into a shoe box instead. Place all of the old, gross or unused items in the box and put the lid on it. Then stash it in your closet. If you need something out of the box in the next six months, go ahead and grab it. If you don’t, however, at the end of the summer simply grab it and throw the box away. You’ll feel lighter to be rid of things you don’t need.

Make Up Games and Eyeshadow

Eyeshadow has some outstanding potential for make up games. There are so many different colors and textures with eyeshadow and you can spend hours just playing around with the different shades and shines. And, of course, with make up games, this is exactly what you should be doing if you’re looking to learn some new techniques. The best way to learn more about make up games is to simply start experimenting with them.

Start your eyeshadow experiments with a good mirror and a steady hand. A large palette of eyeshadow shades can help as well. Keep a few magazines or websites nearby with good tutorials on how to put on different sorts of eyeshadows. The goal, of course, is to learn some great techniques that you can use on your own first thing in the morning while you’re getting ready for school. You can do that very well if you’re not already experienced with the sorts of eyeshadow that you own – for make up games especially, practice makes perfect.

Make Up Games and Fair Skin

If you’re playing make up games, you’ve probably experimented with some serious make up choices over the years. But have you noticed that many of the make up items we try to wear on fair skin just don’t seem to be doing much to help, but perhaps more to hurt? Fair skin is a special animal because it tends to be lighter than the lightest make up items at times, and getting the wrong shade on a porcelain complexion can be glaringly obvious.

Perhaps the best way to find the right make up games for fair skin is to consult with the professionals who also just happen to have a case of make up at their disposal. The make ups can start with a color chart and selection. Go to the counter where you’ll be comfortable buying new make up items. Then you can have the make up specialist put on your make up for you. The look you create should be exactly what you want and need. Once you have the colors you need for your make up games selected, buy them up – you’ll be glad you did.

Princess Make Up Games

Halloween may be long gone, but that doesn’t mean we have to forsake all of the fun of the dress up season! Make up games are fun any time of the year and this year may just be the perfect time to pull out some princess make up games. January can be a tough month for girls who love the fun of the holidays but dread the long, cold winter days. So why not take a day off from waiting for spring and make a bit of your own sunshine?

Start with a make up kit and freshly washed skin. Then, create a look that is more than a bit over the top for anyone who might be living outside of a fairy tale. Put on your fake eyelashes and consider some sparkles and glitter just to be sure you have the right effect. Then, once you’re all pulled together you can find your very best princess outfit to wear as well. After all, what’s the fun of a princess make up game if you’re not going to be dressed like a royal as well?
