Make Up Games and Pedicures

Not one of the more traditional make up games, but doing nails is something to enhance your natural beauty, just the same way blusher or mascara would. If you think about it in our world of harried and frazzled people, the toes on your feet are likely to get the same amount of attention as any make up you might put on your face.

When you go to play make up games with your toes, don’t be shy. Your toes are one of the few golden opportunities you have to do something substantial with your feet. You can add a bit of toe jewelry, but overall, having a beautiful shimmering shade on your toes is about the best of the make up games you can play in the summer time especially. Glamour on your toes is a nice substitute for glamour on your face, after all, and a pedicure won’t simply be sweated off the way a full face of make up can be. So with the warm weather well underway, head to salon to play make up games with your toes.

Make Up Games and Eyebrow Clean-Up

There’s a difference between getting your eyebrows done and keeping them cleaned up. When you get your brows done, you have them waxed or threaded or plucked into a shape that flatters your face and opens up your eye area. Usually, you only get your brows done every month or so, but that leaves plenty of time for the hairs around your eyebrows to start growing back in. Some women just ignore these hairs and let them grow in slowly knowing they will be attacking them later with the help of some wax at their next appointment.

Others can’t stand the feeling or the look of the stray hairs and they opt to attack them with some tweezers. A good pair of tweezers lets you single out hairs and pluck them one by one. Now, when you’re cleaning up your eyebrows, you’re not shaping them. You shouldn’t be digging into the bulk of your eyebrows with your tweezers. These make up games require you to carefully single out the random hairs that are growing into what was bare skin a week ago. Single one out and carefully tweeze it away. Regular cleaning will give you groomed eyebrows at least between waxing appointment or you may opt to skip the waxings all together.

Make Up Games – Summer Lips

Over the hot summer months, you need to be vigilant about protecting all of your skin, but your lips in particular. These highly sensitive parts of your body can dry out quickly and can become irritated in the sun at times. Your best bets for protecting your lips is to keep them moisturized and look for lip balms with sunscreen. In fact, you don’t really need to put anything on your lips at all outside of a simple coat of lip balm with sunscreen when you’re out during the day – after all, few people wear lipstick to the beach.

Of course, when it’s nighttime you’ll want to dress up those summer lips a bit more. Once the sun is down, you don’t need to worry as much about protecting them from the elements, but you still want to be sure that you’re donning a fashionable lip color for the summer months. Heavy lipsticks and bright reds aren’t as suitable for summer as they are for fall. Instead of lipstick, stick to your light lip glosses in a pretty pink or peach color. The end result is fun and youthful, but the shine and shimmer will definitely make your lips look luscious and easy to kiss.

Make Up Games – Eyeshadows

There is a thing about colored eyeshadows right now. Everyone is wearing bright sherbet colored eyeshadow and it’s fun to see so many bright and fun colors, but it does make you wonder a bit if everyone realizes what looks best on their face. While having neon green eyelids is great fun, it might not be that flattering. It certainly calls attention to the eye, but it probably isn’t as attractive as using more neutral shades.

With that being said, the best time to explore the bright, fun colors available in eyeshadows is while you’re young. You can have fun playing with bright pink and blue eyeshadows in school a lot more easily than you can if you’re out in an office building somewhere. Go wild and crazy trying new things and buying new colors to try out with friends. But while you’re practicing with those bold, fun colors, be sure to learn and practice applying the neutral shades as well should you even find yourself heading to a job interview where purple eyelids might not be your best option for getting the job and impressing the boss.
