Make Up Games and Spray Tanners

Spray tans are one of the most popular parts of make up games today. In fact, spray tans have become so realistic they have all but replaced many fake tanning beds and laying out for that sun kissed look. Spray tanners are also much safer than using the sun or artificial tanning beds to create that same look. The spray tanners are simply a spray that sticks to your skin and helps the top layer of your skin take on the look of a tan.

When you consider how wonderful we look with a healthy tan, it’s not surprising that so many people baked themselves in tanning beds. Lying out in the sun is certainly not healthy, but even knowing that plenty of people still did it to get that bright sunny look. Tanned skin looks healthy and active, but getting a tan in a healthy way requires staying out of the sun. Spray tanning is truly the only option available for the health conscious individuals.

If you feel the need to be tanned as part of the make up games, be sure to create the look using spray tanners rather than risking future skin damage with too much skin exposure.

Make Up Games for Fall

Fall is in the air, and with the turning of the seasons, you need to prepare your make up for the change in temperature and climate conditions. Fall make up tends to be very earthy. You want your colors to reflect the natural colors of the earth with plenty of browns, reds, greens, dark blues and gold. Think of those lovely falling leaves when selecting colors for autumn.

But outside of selecting the right colors for fall, you’ll also need to find ways to treat and pamper your skin as the air outside turns colder and drier and the air inside gets hotter and stuffier. Fall air can be great for skin if it’s wet and dewey out. But when those cold breezes blow through and you can feel the lack of moisture in the air, you’re going to need to step up your game a bit.

Moisturize heavily during these times to keep your skin in peak condition while the dry conditions try to sap the moisture away. A light cream under your make up and a heavier cream worn at night will keep your skin moist. Don’t forget to include eye creams to protect that fragile area of the face as well.

Make Up Games and Face Paint

It’s almost Halloween and this is the perfect season to have a ball with face paint. If you happen to have a truly artistic friend or you’re an artist yourself, make up games with face paint will be a perfect treat. The games are simple to play – you just go wild with face paints.

Start with a basic design such as a crown or a message of some kind. Then you can get more creative by painting full face designs that will dazzle others. To wear your face painting out, you’ll need to be the right kind of personality, however. Putting a giant butterfly on your face complete with glitter will only wow in the clubs if you have the kind of personality to make it fly.

On Halloween, absolutely use face paints to have a great time. Paint on overdone make up or stitches. Use the make up to enhance your costume or to create an entirely new one just for the fun of it. Black shirt, black pants and a wild face will make a terrific costume, there is no doubt about it.

Make Up Games and Dry Skin

It’s winter and it’s likely you’ll be looking at a bit of dry skin over the next few months. Tackling dry skin in regards to make up games is simple enough if you’re willing to be diligent.

Humidity – the warm humid air of summer is great for your skin. It makes it nice and dewy. Unfortunately, there isn’t much of that weather to go around in the winter, so you’ll have to create your own. Pull out the humidifier and plug it in beside your bed every night. All that lovely warm moisture will not only help you breathe as the hot dry air circulate around the rest of the house, you’ll also wake with that lovely lush skin.

Lotion – Moisturizers are your next line of defense. You’ll need to put on full body moisture after every shower you have in these cold months to help protect your skin from dry heat. But taking care of your face is the most important thing of all. Use a heavy cream moisturizer at night to be sure that your face is staying fully moisturized. During the day use a lighter moisturizer under make up. A heavy cream under make up can make you more prone to breakouts, so use the various products sparingly.

Lip Liner and Make Up Games

If you’ve used lip liner before, you know that the small pencil can do quite a bit for your face and make up regime. But often, the lip pencil is over or underused depending on whose using it.

Sketch with a lip pencil. Most often it is older women who play make up games with lip pencils. The pencil outlines the lips lightly and keeps lipstick from bleeding out into the fine lines around older women’s mouths. But that doesn’t mean you can’t use lip pencil in your make up games. When you do use lip pencil, don’t draw with it; sketch instead.

Make light strokes around the pink edge of your lips. The light strokes will connect and look more natural than a dark single line around the lips. Inside the lip liner, fill in your lips with a coordinating color lip gloss or lip stick. The light line you sketched should fade into the color of the lipstick making your lips look full and seamless – exactly what you wanted to do.

An added tip about lip pencils. If you have a pencil with a soft lead, you can use a bit of the red or pink on your cheeks. Smearing a bit on your cheeks makes you look healthy and ready for action.
