Make Up Games for Formal Events

The holiday season is here and so are the many opportunities for formal events. To enjoy a formal event properly, you’ll need to be able to throw on a beautiful face of make up to complement your cocktail and evening gowns. Of course, knowing the difference between daytime and nighttime make up is the first big step to your success, of course, and make up games are the perfect way to practice the look.

The holidays are great for another reason as well – make up is on sale! Take yourself to the drug store and buy one of the heavily discounted collections of eye shadows and make up items. These will be your testing colors and patterns while you try out your make up games.

Find different combinations of colors and practice your blending techniques. You’ll be able to see right away if your make up colors are right or wrong. If you don’t like the look you’ve created, simply remove the make up using a cold cream and start over again. Once you’ve mastered the balance of colors and style, you can invest in some beautiful sparkling make up to make the holidays even more beautiful.

Make Up Games and Face Washing

It’s funny how much we think about putting on make up games, but we rarely think much about taking that make up off again. Make up games aren’t designed to be on for very long. You should wash your face as soon as possible every day. Make up on your skin can have some side effects you’re not going to enjoy. The most obvious problem is that make up that is less than fresh looks a bit less than fresh. Make up runs and smears over time. The powder and foundation settle into lines on the face and make you look older than you are.

Wash your face and free yourself of the cakes of make up. Instead you can run around the house in a fresh face a bit of tinted lip gloss. If someone comes over, a swipe of mascara is all you need to liven yourself up again without taking thirty minutes to paint on a new face. Being able to show your real face to the world is just as confidence-building as showing up with a full face of top-named cosmetics. It’s all about how you play your own make up games and how comfortable you are in your own skin.

Make Up Games and Experiments

There are some experiments that are hard to avoid, and when the urge strikes you to start getting a bit creative with your make up games, why not go ahead and indulge yourself? Make up games should be fun, but you’re young and it’s the perfect opportunity to try out different make up colors and patterns. Want to wear wild eye shadow? Give it a try! Want to try out something new and interesting with your lips? Why not! The beautiful thing about all of your different make up experiments is that you’ll turn out looking beautiful each time and then you’ll be able to find the tricks you’d enjoy using at school or work.

You can read countless books on make up and design, but until you actually start practicing with the make up items and learning how to use them to their best effects, it’s hard to know what really works and what doesn’t. Make up games require experimentation, and you should be experimenting when you play them. Buy bold colors and try new things as they come out on the market. This can be an expensive hobby, but you work with a friend who loves make up games, too, you should be able to keep the costs reasonable and enjoy just about every new item that comes along.
