Make Up Games and Crying

There is nothing that messes up make up games faster than freshly shed tears. Crying will destroy just about any make up games you’ve tried to arrange on your face and short of willing away tears, there’s not much you can do to prevent some trauma, but if you plan ahead you can certainly come out looking decent enough after a good crying spell.

If you’re going to cry – you’re anticipating tears – you can easily use waterproof make up for your make up games. Mascara is easy to find in a waterproof formula. Waterproof lipstick is easy enough as well. The tricky part of your make up is to find a base and powder that won’t get too damaged by tears. Perhaps the best way to salvage your cheeks and under eyes after a good crying jag is to simply bring along a compact so that you can dab a bit on to repair the damage.
