Make Up Games and Little Girls

Little girls love make up games. Personally, I find it fun to watch little girls getting made up as part of a game. I don’t agree with it as part of a young girl’s life – there is far too much time for that sort of thing as the girls get older. But at the salon parties so popular with young girls, getting make up done is great fun for everyone.

When you apply make up to a little girl’s face, you’ll absolutely want to go very light on everything. Young girls don’t need base because their skin is already so smooth and blended. Instead, dust on a bit of powder and spend some time on eyes and mouth. Make her eyes really pop with some glittered eye shadow and maybe even some false eyelashes if she can sit still long enough for you to apply them. Then add some mascara and perhaps a bit of pencil liner. The little girl will be adorable and you’ll have fun putting on that last bit of pink lip gloss for a big smile.

Make Up Games: Too Much Is Too Much

Too much of some things is never enough – too much money or beauty doesn’t seem to really hurt anyone, but too much make up can. When you wear too much make up, your natural beauty can’t shine though and you run the risk of looking a bit caked on. If you have skin trouble, wearing heavy make up can make the problem much worse rather than better. It might comfort you to wear a very heavy layer of base over acne on your face, but you’re not really hiding the acne as much as making it much worse – it’s far better to play up other features on your face and let the acne fade into the background.

Caking on make up has other potentially harmful side effects as well. When you put on layers up layers of make up you run a very real risk of looking like a “painted lady.” If you’re not familiar with the concept, painted ladies tend to come out in the evening and stay out all night. Their paint was heavy make up used to enhance their features. This is the key to quality make up. Your make up should be highlighting your natural features – not overpowering them.

Make Up Games and Aging

It seems that as you age, it’s more important than ever to play make up games. The make up games are part of a beauty regime that most women adhere to as they grow older. The make up they wear is part of a mask used to enhance natural beauty and to play down the less attractive features. After wearing make up for years, it’s hard to move on from what you know and to try new looks and new products, but that’s the exact sort of make up games you should be playing as your face changes with age.

The mature face doesn’t have the same skin tone as the young face and the consistency of the skin is a bit different as well. Getting the right levels of moistures and products for the face can be a challenge in itself and a dermatologist can offer some suggestions on good choices when it comes to finding products that promote healthy, radiant skin without clogging pores or causing more break-outs.

Make Up Games for Blank Faces

If you’re like me, you know a lot about wearing make-up but choose not to. Okay, I know there aren’t many people like me, but that’s okay. I used to wear make up all day every day, but the make up games I loved then just seemed to not be especially important to me anymore once I reached a certain point. Of course, I do have the blessing of smooth, blemish-free skin, so wearing make up isn’t absolutely essential for me, but I wouldn’t mind enhancing my look with a bit of make up every now and again, but just can’t get in the groove again.

I’m hoping that by playing some serious rounds of make up games, I’m able to get back into the feeling of the make up and want to start putting some on my face every morning before work. Of course, if I can’t seem to work up the energy or effort for that, at least I know that I still look okay enough to get away with it for now, but I wonder how long that will last as my skin ages and looses a bit of my fresh-faced appeal.

Makeup Games and Natural Products

New evidence is emerging that suggests the chemicals that can be found in make-ups, fragrances and nail polishes might be causing more harm than good. These products can actually be quite dangerous in large quantities that build up in your system over time. The best thing to do if you’re not willing to go without make up games, which most of us are not, is to find organic and natural products that are made without the chemicals present in many of the other make up products.

There are many companies that create make up products using only natural ingredients and without using the preservatives that other companies use. Of course, using a natural product might be considerably more expensive than the inexpensive knock-off brands that most of us like to grab from the stores, but it’s well worth it if the expensive brand is keeping us from ingesting chemicals of all kinds. The number of chemicals in the world today is increasing dramatically and it’s important to realize that we need to protect ourselves and our skin from the chemicals out there.
