The summer is a fun time to play make up games, although it’s not the most popular time. Girls who spend a great deal of time outside during the summer aren’t as interested in putting on make up only to sweat it off again, so you can wager that most make up will be applied on days that you’re working inside or for evenings out with friends.
When you wear make up in the summer, opt for lighter coverage and avoid anything that looks or feels heavy. Light shimmering shades are pretty for summer while smoky eyes and heavy use of liner isn’t as attractive. Save those looks for the winter when you can pull off darker make up.
Your eyes will likely see the most make up, but don’t be afraid to keep it truly simple with a bit of eyeshadow or just mascara. There is little need for eyeliner in the summer as it might run a bit if it gets warm. Also always choose waterproof mascara just in case you find yourself at the beach at sunset and want to splash or swim.
