Make Up Games and Mascara

Mascara is a misunderstood make up item. Many people use mascara, but they fail to realize how it should be applied and which color they should be choosing. Black mascara is not right for everyone, and when you apply mascara, you don’t need to apply it to every lash.

Pick the Right Mascara Color
Your first goal is to find the right color of mascara to wear. If you have fair lashes or even medium lashes, skip the black mascara. Opt for a brown mascara instead. The goal is to make your eyelashes show up a bit darker and to frame your eyes. If your lashes are light, the black mascara is too dark and will look unnatural around lighter eyes.

Apply Mascara to the Top Lashes
Apply the mascara to the top lashes starting at the base of the eye and pulling the wand up and out toward the tips. Be sure to get the entire tip. Wiggle the brush just a bit as you pull it through to break up any clumps.

Apply Mascara to the Bottom Lashes
When you apply mascara to your bottom lashes, apply it only to the outside lashes on the bottom. The lashes near the outside corner of the eye will make the eye look larger. Mascara under the entire eye will drag it down and make your eye look smaller.
