Make Up Games: Powder and Blush

Powder and blush are two of the most important items you’ll need in your make up kit this spring. When you play make up games in the spring, you have to take into consideration the special conditions of the spring. The weather will be growing warmer, and you’ll be outside a great deal more. You must also prepare yourself for more time in the sun and the possible cold breezes that might still blow.

Powder
Powder should be just about all of the foundation you need for spring make up games. The powder will cover up shine and help to blend all of the different areas of your face together. Be sure to use a moisturized with sunscreen underneath your powder to keep your face protected from the sun.

Blush
Easily the most overlooked make up item is blush. Blush makes your face lighter and brighter. It helps to give your face a bit of color without risking sun damage. Use a spot of blush on the apples of your cheeks and even a bit of nose, forehead and chin to make your face glow like you’ve been outside in the sun.

Spring Make Up Games

In the spring, it’s time to start rethinking your normal make up routine. Heavy make up is ideal for the winter, but in the spring, you need to start thinking lighter. The spring make up games will be a transition period between the heavy foundations and powders of the winter and the lighter make-up options used in the summer.

Think Pink
Spring is a time of blooming and your cheeks and lips should be doing a bit of blooming on their own. Use pink and peaches to really brighten you face and be sure to get some color on you cheeks to brighten up that pale winter face.

Use Sunscreen
The sun is dangerous all of the time, but over the winter you likely weren’t outside quite as frequently as you are now. So be sure to use a moisturizer with sunscreen to keep your face nicely protected against the sun and the occasional cold breeze.

Change Shades
If you are outside a bit more and wind up with more color in your face, be sure to go one or two shades darker with your foundation and powder Using products that are too light can make you appear pasty.

3 Tips for Better Lips

More kissable lips in make up games aren’t hard to achieve, especially not with these three easy tips.

Moisturize Your Lips
The first step to having kissable lips is to keep your lips moisturized. Opt for a bit of chapstick or lip balm at bedtime so that the moisture can be seeping in while you sleep. If you live in a dry area, you might have to resort to petroleum jelly to try and keep some moisture in the sensitive skin of your lips.

Exfoliate Your Lips
In addition to simply moisturizing, be sure you are presenting the best part of your lips. You don’t want old dead skin on your lips, so be sure you exfloliate your lips from time to time. This can be as simple as rubbing your lips with your towel when you dry your face. Your goal is simply to remove the dead skin – you don’t need anything fancy.

Soft, Light Lip Coverage
Gloopy lips aren’t very kissable, so skip heavy glosses or dark lipsticks. Instead, opt for a light coverage that doesn’t seem sticky or too shiny to the boy who’ll be looking at those lips meaningfully.

How to Play Make Up Games

There are two different kinds of makeup games, and one is played at home versus the one played online. The at home version requires a sleep-over in most cases and make up kits full of wonderful ideas for glamorous makeover. The online version of the game is more straightforward and doesn’t require you scrubbing your face afterward.

1.Pick a game. There are thousands, if not millions of make up games available, so you’ll have to decide on a game before you can get started. Opt for a game that gives you plenty of choices and is realistic. These are the most fun.

2.Try out different make up options. In make up games, you don’t dress the characters in most cases, you just apply their make up. So use all the different colors and options to find what you need to make your base look glamorous.

3.Choose hair as necessary. If your doll didn’t’ come with hair, you’ll need to give her some. Chose a hairstyle that suits the kind of makeup you’ve applied to make her look more uniform.

Make Up Games: Lips for All Seasons

Different seasons call for different lip treatments.

Summer Lips
Summer make up should be light and this includes lip treatment. Use gloss to make your lips look luscious and kissable. A gloss with sunscreen is even better if you’re going to be out and about. Neutral, flesh colors also work well in the winter.

Fall Lips
Autumn brings out heavier clothes and heavier make up. Use a darker gloss or even a real lipstick. The ones that don’t wear off are always a good choice. Use earth tones to make your make-up appear a bit more seasonal and down to earth. As the weather turns colder, you can also consider heavier lip protection from the cold.

Winter Lips
In the winter, the dry air might make it harder on your lips if you don’t keep them moisturized at all times. Use Chap Stick or a heavy gloss to help protect lips from wind and dry air.

Spring Lips
Finally, you get to pull out pretty colors again. Peach and pink lip glosses make the mood lighter and brighter and that’s exactly what you need in the spring months.

Make Up Games: Doing Your Eyes

Eye makeup is the most complicated part of your daily make up routine, and it’s very easy to get a bit carried away on eye make up. Doing your eye make up should be done depending on the time of day, the season and what you plan to do that day.

Start With a Foundation
Your eyelids are very thin and they tend to get a bit oily toward the end of the day. Use a foundation on your entire face, including your eyelids. A light dusting of powder will set the foundation and give you a smooth foundation to work with.

Apply Eyeliner
If you’re going out in the evening, apply eyeliner directly along your lash line. If you’re just going to school or work, you don’t need eye liner – it’s generally reserved for evenings.

Apply Eyeshadow
Your eyeshadow can be a color chosen to offset your eye color or it can be a neutral such as brown or gray. Use a light color on the lid up to the orbital bone or eyebrow and then a darker color along the brow bone. To make your eyes pop out a bit more.

Use Mascara
If you wear nothing else on your eyes, should you use mascara. It will make your eyes more pronounced.

Make Up Games Over Spring Break

It’s almost spring break and you need a new look for all that traveling or not traveling you’ll be doing. In fact you can easily spend all of your spring break designing new looks for your face by playing make up games with your friends.

Pull out your calendar right now and mark one of the days of your spring break as the official make up game day. You can make it casual by mentioning it to friends and asking them to come over and play, too. But my preference would be to make it a real sleepover party by making invitations on the computer and putting in little notes about what your friends can expect at your get-together.

Take your allowance or do a quick babysitting job to earn some extra bucks. Then head to the cosmetics or beauty store to stock up on the basics for your party. Invest in plenty of fun make up items and nail polishes – for this the cheap ones will be more than plenty. Then grab swabs and sponges to help keep everyone’s germs separate while you play.

Take it all home, wait for your guests to arrive and then get started having fun!

Make Up Games for St. Patrick’s Day

It might not be a particularly major holiday, but the green festivity of Saint Patrick’s day does deserve a bit of recognition. I like to recognize this not-so-major holiday in a few different ways.

Play Green Make Up Games
The first way is by going gung-ho about the rules of Saint Patrick ’s Day. If I’m supposed to be dressed in green, I’ll find something to wear on my body and on my face. Eye shadow is the easy winner here, but you also have the option of face painting, or some crazy eyeliner. I like eye shadow if I’m somewhere like school, but I’ve been known to bring along a green grease pencil any paint everyone with shamrocks in the hallway.

Wear Green
Yes, you have to wear green, and a t-shirt is an easy way to go. I do like to branch out from the ordinary at times and go with the green socks. I feel that bright green socks worn with flats and a shirt make quite a statement. This is especially true if the socks are knee-high with little leprechauns on them.
