Make Up Games: Doing Your Eyes

Eye makeup is the most complicated part of your daily make up routine, and it’s very easy to get a bit carried away on eye make up. Doing your eye make up should be done depending on the time of day, the season and what you plan to do that day.

Start With a Foundation
Your eyelids are very thin and they tend to get a bit oily toward the end of the day. Use a foundation on your entire face, including your eyelids. A light dusting of powder will set the foundation and give you a smooth foundation to work with.

Apply Eyeliner
If you’re going out in the evening, apply eyeliner directly along your lash line. If you’re just going to school or work, you don’t need eye liner – it’s generally reserved for evenings.

Apply Eyeshadow
Your eyeshadow can be a color chosen to offset your eye color or it can be a neutral such as brown or gray. Use a light color on the lid up to the orbital bone or eyebrow and then a darker color along the brow bone. To make your eyes pop out a bit more.

Use Mascara
If you wear nothing else on your eyes, should you use mascara. It will make your eyes more pronounced.
