Make Up Games: Lips for All Seasons

Different seasons call for different lip treatments.

Summer Lips
Summer make up should be light and this includes lip treatment. Use gloss to make your lips look luscious and kissable. A gloss with sunscreen is even better if you’re going to be out and about. Neutral, flesh colors also work well in the winter.

Fall Lips
Autumn brings out heavier clothes and heavier make up. Use a darker gloss or even a real lipstick. The ones that don’t wear off are always a good choice. Use earth tones to make your make-up appear a bit more seasonal and down to earth. As the weather turns colder, you can also consider heavier lip protection from the cold.

Winter Lips
In the winter, the dry air might make it harder on your lips if you don’t keep them moisturized at all times. Use Chap Stick or a heavy gloss to help protect lips from wind and dry air.

Spring Lips
Finally, you get to pull out pretty colors again. Peach and pink lip glosses make the mood lighter and brighter and that’s exactly what you need in the spring months.
