Three Make Up Tips for Hot Weather

When the weather turns hot, you need to take special consideration with your make up games. Make up and hot weather don’t always mix.

Start With Sunscreen
When the weather is hot, chances are high that you’ll be outside more often. Being outside means your skin will be more exposed to the sun. This means you need a powerful sun screen. Be sure you find a sunscreen that is also a non-greasy moisturizer. Many facial moisturizers have sunscreen built in.

Try Loose Powder
Loose powder applied with a big brush helps to dab up grease and oil on your face and gives you a light, flawless cover on your skin. Foundations can be too heavy, and with the “glow” caused by the heat, you’ll want your shiny spots as un-shiny as possible.

Just Mascara
Skip all other makeup besides perhaps lip gloss and use just mascara on your eyes. A waterproof mascara will help your eyes look big and bright in your face and it will resist melting off the way eye shadow is prone to do.
