Make Up Games and Spring Colors

With spring in the air, it’s important to choose make up colors that are flattering as well as functional for the warmer months. Bright, hot weather requires lighter colors than the dark cool colors of the winter. There shouldn’t be many smoky black or brown eyes showing up now. Instead opt for make up games using purples or greens shades. You can still do a neutral, but opt for a lighter neutral than you used just a few months ago.

The fun part of summer and spring is to find the shades of make up games that you wouldn’t normally wear and give them a try. Try a bit of sparkle, or spend a long weekend playing with bronzer so that you can return to school with a healthy tan and bright, pretty skin. You can even play with a fake tanner that is more permanent just to see what sort of result you can create to truly celebrate the warmer months of spring that will turn into summer before we know it.

Make Up Games and Cleaning Out

As you clean out your room this spring, use the opportunity for spring cleaning to remove some of your old make up items as well. We all tend to keep make up for much longer than we really should, and it does feel a bit wasteful to give up on mascara that is still half full or a lipstick that we’ve barely used, but if your make up is past the expiration date, it’s likely time to get rid of it and buy a new one.

Eye makeup like mascara is one of the most important things to purge as you go through your cleaning process. Mascara and some eyeliner can pick up bacteria from eyes and fester. It also expires a bit faster than other, dryer make up items like powder or blush. In your make up games, throw out things you never use or that seem expired.

If you can’t bear to do it, put them into a shoe box instead. Place all of the old, gross or unused items in the box and put the lid on it. Then stash it in your closet. If you need something out of the box in the next six months, go ahead and grab it. If you don’t, however, at the end of the summer simply grab it and throw the box away. You’ll feel lighter to be rid of things you don’t need.

Make Up Games and Eyeshadow

Eyeshadow has some outstanding potential for make up games. There are so many different colors and textures with eyeshadow and you can spend hours just playing around with the different shades and shines. And, of course, with make up games, this is exactly what you should be doing if you’re looking to learn some new techniques. The best way to learn more about make up games is to simply start experimenting with them.

Start your eyeshadow experiments with a good mirror and a steady hand. A large palette of eyeshadow shades can help as well. Keep a few magazines or websites nearby with good tutorials on how to put on different sorts of eyeshadows. The goal, of course, is to learn some great techniques that you can use on your own first thing in the morning while you’re getting ready for school. You can do that very well if you’re not already experienced with the sorts of eyeshadow that you own – for make up games especially, practice makes perfect.

Make Up Games and Fair Skin

If you’re playing make up games, you’ve probably experimented with some serious make up choices over the years. But have you noticed that many of the make up items we try to wear on fair skin just don’t seem to be doing much to help, but perhaps more to hurt? Fair skin is a special animal because it tends to be lighter than the lightest make up items at times, and getting the wrong shade on a porcelain complexion can be glaringly obvious.

Perhaps the best way to find the right make up games for fair skin is to consult with the professionals who also just happen to have a case of make up at their disposal. The make ups can start with a color chart and selection. Go to the counter where you’ll be comfortable buying new make up items. Then you can have the make up specialist put on your make up for you. The look you create should be exactly what you want and need. Once you have the colors you need for your make up games selected, buy them up – you’ll be glad you did.

Make Up Games and Cheap Make Up Kits

If you love make up games, and who doesn’t, this is the time of year to get serious about finding some new colors and patterns to try. There are tons of cheap make up kits out at the stores now and if you run out after Christmas to try and score some serious deals, you’ll have no problem at all finding make up kits for fifty or even sixty or more off the original price. When you stop to consider that these make up games were super cheap to begin with, the idea of getting fifty eye shadows or twenty lipsticks for $10 is enough to make you swoon a bit.

Of course, we have to realize that the cheap make up kits aren’t the highest quality products out there, but if you’re just playing around with colors and trying to find the best bargains to experiment with – this is most certainly the best time for some serious make up games to start! Grab a mega make up kit for less than $20. That’s less than most of us would normally pay for a good powder. Then, call over a few friends and get started on trying out some new looks – if you hate it, simple wash it off and try again!

Make Up Games and Purple

In an interesting twist, one of the big colors this holiday season is purple. The dark purple eye shadows and eyeliners are popular, and purple, surprisingly, looks good on just about everyone. The dark purple eyeliner you might use in the make up games is a great way to bring out the bright blue of someone’s eyes or set off the dark green iris. Brown eyes especially look great when they are outlined with a purple eyeliner pencil. Combine the pencil with some purple eye shadow and you’ll have a beautiful smoky eye that nobody can beat.

It might be a bit much to wear a purple lipstick or even consider purple blush, but the right bit of purple eye shadow can make the holidays a bit more dramatic and magical while also making your make up games new and exciting as well. Head out to the mall to find some new make up games – you’ll see plenty of the new purple eye shadows and you’ll find other great make up items to add to your collection. Consider all of your new make up games the best present you can give yourself this holiday season!
