Make Up Games and Zits

Personally, I hate playing make up games and having to deal with zits. When those ugly little boogers show up on my face, the last thing I want to do is irritate them more by putting make up over them and making the spot worse. When you’re playing make up games and you need to deal with the zits, you’ll need to take some precautions.

Wash your face well as your first step. You don’t want any lingering oils or dirt on your face to be trapped under make-up.

Distinguish the kind of zit you’re dealing with. Is this an invisible zit that you can feel better than you can see? If so, you can probably leave it open to the elements to heal more quickly. If you’re dealing with the bright red variety, you’ll want to tackle that kind of spot in a different way.

After washing, apply a light, non-oily moisturizer. Then tap a dot of foundation over the spot. If it’s still visible a tap of concealer will help to hide it even more effectively. Keep your make-up as light as possible as a heavy application can make your skin more agitated. Focus on your eyes and lips more than covering your face with foundation and powder.
