Make Up Games for New Years Eve

2009 is right around the corner and there is no better time than a wild night out to play make up games. What you decide to do with your make up on New Years Eve depends a bit on what your plans are for the evening and even more on how wild you want to be. New Years is a celebration of the best kind, it’s the perfect excuse for wild make-up.
Go Glam
You might decide to copy the look of one of your favorite stars from the red carpet. This works best if you’re going to a party, but even if you’re just going to the movies, throw on a bit of glitter and an updo and you can make anything a true production.

Go Girly
Take it back to the essence of being female with smoky eyes and red pouty lips. Wear your hair down and consider some curls or waves. Pair your girly look with something slinky or short to really have a good time for the evening.

Go Funky
Ever dreamed of looking like a rock star? This is your big chance. Get some serious hair product and s[ike your hair or get a nice tease going. Your make-up should be wild with plenty of eyeliner and a funky lip color – have fun!

New Years Make Up Games

New Years Parties are a great time to go all out on the make up games. Invite some friends over and pool your make up do that you have a huge range of options available. Then get started.

For a New Years party you want to have enough make up on to really shine under any bright dance lights without looking like you’re wearing a lot of make up. This can be tricky to say the least.

Start with a solid foundation and layer of powder that matches your skin tone exactly. This way, no matter how close your date gets for that New Years Kiss or how powerful the black lights are, you’ll look natural.

Put on some fake eyelashes just because this is the perfect time and layer on the eye make-up. New Years is the perfect time to look sleek and sultry. Finally, put on a kissable lipstick or gloss. You don’t want it coming off onto all those boys you’re going to kiss!

Learning From Make Up Games

The best games to learn from are make up games. In many cases, when you see someone wearing make up, you know they have it on, but you can’t always pick out exactly what she has done to make herself look so good. Online make up games can make it much easier to find out exactly what steps she took.

Make up games make this much easier however, but showing you exactly what a face looks like before and after you add each item. Start with a blank face and add a bit of blush to lighten up the face overall. Then start with the eye make up. Experiment with different colors to see which makes the biggest impact with eye colors and then be sure to apply mascara as well.

Online make up games let you see the impact of different colors, textures and application styles. It’s an excellent training ground for those just learning about make up, and it also makes for a great opportunity to refine your skills and learn some new techniques if you’re an old hand.

Learning New Make Up Games

Where do you go to learn new make up games? I like to know the latest and greatest trends in make up games, so I usually look in a few places to be sure I’m all caught up with the times:

Beauty Magazines – Beauty magazines are naturally full of advice and techniques to use when applying your make up. They show the new trends and fashions as well as some old classics. Beauty magazines are always a good choice.

Fashion Websites – There is a lot of information to be had on fashion websites, even some that normally feature something besides make up. Look around at pictures and games and be sure to read the articles to find out what is new on the sites and in the world of fashionably make up.

Friends – I have some friends who seem to be pros at coming up with new make up techniques. These friends come to school looking great and half the time it takes me a day to come up with the reason why. Make up changes are almost always the reason.

Teaching Make Up Games to Your Friends

If you’re really good with make up games, it’s very likely your friends have asked you to teach them how to do make up as well. When you have the opportunity to do this in real life, you should. Playing make up games online is one thing, but when you have a chance to teach a friend how to use make up games, you’ll be helping her, but you’ll also be helping yourself examine your techniques and making them even more natural to you.

Start your lesson by looking over what make up items your friend already has. Then loan her some of yours for the day or go to the store to buy a few more items if she needs then. You can then get started on the real meat of the lesson.

Teach her how to prepare her face by cleaning it and then applying moisture. Add the make up items step by step to show her the proper technique and which colors to use each time. This will help her remember how to do her make up right every time.

If you really want to teach her what to do, you can apply make up to half of her face and allow her to apply the make up to the other half. If she can match what you’ve done, you know you’re done a good job teaching.

Start Your Own Make Up Games

A short walk through the local mall will show you that the biggest thing for little girls these days are make up games. You like the kind of make up games you can use that are really just practice for the real deal, but more and more eight-year-olds are having birthday parties where they get dressed up and then highly glamorized when someone comes to do their hair or they visit the make up game parlor in the mall.

If you’ve been looking for a part-time job that you’d really love to do, this is the right one. Why not start your own make up games that little girls can enjoy? You probably can’t afford to rent space in the mall, but you can put together a crate of goods to take with you to birthday parties and such.

Advertise yourself using business cards, fliers and word-of-mouth. Start with your friends and their parents then ask them to mention your business to others who might be interested. Know your price ahead of time as that is the first thing a future client will ask, but then go out and do what you enjoy doing – introducing little girls to a life of glamour and make up games!

Make Up Games and Winter Nights

There is something about a cold winter night that makes girls want to play make up games. If you have a friend over, be sure she’s brought her make up with her and the two of you can sit down in your nest of pillows, blankets and quilts and do makeovers. Put on each other’s make up and take a look in the mirror to see how you like your new look.

Use books and magazines to get ideas about new ways to apply make up and get some tips. Take turns putting on the first round of make up and then look in the mirror together. Then, both of you wash your face and go back and do another round. Try to make each round of make up different from the round before.

For example, you might do casual make up in the first round and then go back and do glamour make up in the second. When everyone has her face done, pull on those wooly socks and sit down in front of the computer to play a few more make up games before you have to wash your face and go to bed.

Find Great Gift Ideas with Make Up Games

When it comes to your friends, there is nothing sweeter than getting exactly the right gift. The trouble is, sometimes you don’t know what the right gift is and it’s very possible your friend doesn’t either. This is where make up games can come into play.

Invite your friends over for a make up party. Bring a make up guide along to see what colors everyone needs to be wearing and flip through magazines looking for new styles and things to try. Then get busy experimenting. Add a bit of this and some of that until your friends all look terrific.

But helping them with the make up they have isn’t truly the gift, it’s the fun way to prepare for the gift giving. As you play around with make up games, take notice of what your friends have to borrow from each other and especially what items nobody seems to have that would have been fun to use or try. Then, when the party is over, head to the store and actually buy those particular items for friends. Make up a small gift bag for each with the desired cosmetics.

Bring the bags to a Christmas party or to school and distribute. You’ll be the life of the party and know that you gave a gift everyone truly enjoys.

Make Up Games Prepare You for the Holidays

Is your make up ready for the holidays? I sincerely hope so! After all, Christmas comes but once each year, and this is truly your year to shine. In fact, I hope you literally shine with the glitter and glam of holiday make up.

Holiday Make Up
Normally you might use a bit of shimmer to make your skin look bright and healthy, but the holidays are the excuse you’ve been waiting for to make yourself look glamorous and festive with bold strokes and glitter. Most holiday events are in the evening, so you’ll be able to pull your look together using the more generous evening make up looks and make up games can help.

Make Up Games
Practice applying holiday make up on the models in make up games. Start with a concealing base, add a shimmering powder and blush. Then get started on your eyes. You want them to really pop, so add a glittery shadow, a dark liner, plenty of mascara and possibly even some fake eyelashes. Be sure to use a sprinkle of glitter along your shoulders and cleavage as well to really make sure you shine.
