Make Up Games and Fake Tans

If you enjoy make up games, you probably already know the power of the tan. A tanned face appears healthier and many of the fine lines and veins that are visible under pale skin disappear. Of course, when you get a tan from the sun, you’re playing with danger – that same tan that looks so healthy now is actually harming your skin well into the future when you’ll have more than just fine lines to deal with as you age. Fortunately, you can enjoy make up games without having to scortch your face under the sun – you just need a bit of fake tanner.

There are several types of fake tanning products, but among these the two that you need to know most are bronzers and aerosol tanning sprays. Bronzers are products designed for your face. They are essentially a special type of powder or perhaps a cream that you apply to your skin and it instantly appears a few shades darker – as if you have a light tan. When you use bronzer, however, your face may suddenly appear tanner than your arms, legs or even neck. To keep things in balance, use a spray tanner to give the rest of your body a light tan as well. It makes for a much more satisfying make up game.

Make Up Games and Eye Cream

There are a ton of creams and potions available out there and among them is the tiny bottle of eye cream. Eye cream is a nice addition to your make up games because it helps your make up games go on more smoothly as well as helping to soothe your eyes after a long day. When you use eye cream, you're able to reduce the puffiness and swelling that you might find on your upper and lower eyelids every morning.

The cream also helps to minimize fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. That doesn't mean that it is just for older ladies, however. The more moisture you have around your eyes, the smoother and brighter your eyes will look. Using eye cream in your makeover games will help to give your fragile skin the moisture it needs while keeping the area smooth. The eye cream will also help to prevent future damage to this area of your face - a critical element of getting older and still looking great!

Make Up Games and Car Trips

It might not seem like a great idea, but if you have a few of your friends riding in a car together for hours at a time on a long car trip, there is no reason that you can’t use that time to perfect some of your make up games. Make up games are a fun way to try out new looks with cosmetics and colors and if you’re able to bring along your make-up kit and brushes, you can certainly use the make up items while you’re riding in the car – it makes a nice break from listening to music or reading a book at least.

Part of the fun of make up games in the car is the mystery of what your friend is doing. There are not many mirrors readily available to the passengers in the backseat, so settle down and get ready for some run the next time you’re riding with friends. Take turns doing each other’s make up games and then be ready for some raised eyebrows when you stop. Imagine walking into a rest stop with club make up on or perhaps some serious fake eyelashes. Of course, the whole thing is all about fun and games – and that just makes it more of an adventure than ever.

Make Up Games and Summer

The heat of the summer is quickly closing in and the hot summer months means only one thing – less make up. I wish everyone knew that make up games need to change when the weather warms up, but I guess that’s just part of my job to let them know that things need to change and that they need to stop caking on the make-up and start making it just a wee bit easier to put together a look for the months when skin should be dewy and fresh looking.

The sun is out and that means that you definitely need to start your make up games with a moisturizer that contains some sunscreen. Slather on your moisturizer in the morning and then add a light layer of foundation if you’d like. It might be even better to skip straight to the part where you dust on a bit of powder over the shiny parts of your face. A dash of blush on each cheek, a swipe of mascara and then you need only one more thing to look your best over the summer – some kissable, fun lip gloss with plenty of shine!

Make Up Games and Masques

There are many different beauty treatments you can choose to help relax your face, improve your skin tone and remove blemishes. While peels and creams have gotten a lot of press lately, they aren’t the only popular treatment available. You can even make your own masques at home using ingredients like oatmeal, honey and avocado to cleanse and purify your skin. In fact, the natural masques you create at home may be more effective than anything you’d buy in the store anyhow.

To use the masques, spend some time preparing by showering and washing your hair. Slick your hair back and use a tie to hold it away from your face and throw on some comfortable, relaxing clothing. Then, carefully use your fingertips to smooth the masque onto your face, careful to avoid your eyes and your mouth. Once the masque is in place, relax and lean back while the treatment works on your skin. After a time, you’ll want to wash away the masque and your make up games will be smooth, fresh and bright again.

Make Up Games and Permanent Make Up

There are some make up games that are more permanent than others. Permanent make-up or tattoos on the face are one way that many women are looking to improve their looks in the morning with very little effort. The make up that is applied through tattoos make it easy in the morning to get ready. After all, when you first wake up in the morning your lips would already be pink or red and your eyes are already lined in dark liner so that your eyes are already large and framed.

Permanent make up isn’t usually the only make up you need in the morning if you’re looking to have a totally freshly made up face. A coat of powder would help to smooth away uneven skin tones and a coat of gloss over lined and colored lips would make the bright red lips shine more enticingly. Tattooing on make up games can certainly add color to your face, but they can’t add shine or glitter – those are elements that only true make up games can create through actual cosmetics.

Make Up Games and Night Cream

While not something you'd normally think of in terms of make up games, night creams are an essential part of a make up games routine. The heavy night cream that you smear on your skin is the chief moisture that your tired skin receives at the end of the day. Pick a heavy cream that isn't full of oils if you're hoping to avoid acne, of course, but do find one with rich moisture and plenty of active ingredients to help delay any signs of aging.

Once you've selected your night cream, be religious about washing your face every night and then slathering it on before bed. You can even add special eye creams and other items to your night routine, but the basis of it all should be the night cream that helps to smooth your skin, plump it up with moisture and keep it hydrated and line-free as you sleep. When you wake in the morning, the night cream should help your skin appear smoother and more rested than it would be otherwise - perfect for make up games!
