Make Up Games for Formal Events

The holiday season is here and so are the many opportunities for formal events. To enjoy a formal event properly, you’ll need to be able to throw on a beautiful face of make up to complement your cocktail and evening gowns. Of course, knowing the difference between daytime and nighttime make up is the first big step to your success, of course, and make up games are the perfect way to practice the look.

The holidays are great for another reason as well – make up is on sale! Take yourself to the drug store and buy one of the heavily discounted collections of eye shadows and make up items. These will be your testing colors and patterns while you try out your make up games.

Find different combinations of colors and practice your blending techniques. You’ll be able to see right away if your make up colors are right or wrong. If you don’t like the look you’ve created, simply remove the make up using a cold cream and start over again. Once you’ve mastered the balance of colors and style, you can invest in some beautiful sparkling make up to make the holidays even more beautiful.

Make Up Games and Face Washing

It’s funny how much we think about putting on make up games, but we rarely think much about taking that make up off again. Make up games aren’t designed to be on for very long. You should wash your face as soon as possible every day. Make up on your skin can have some side effects you’re not going to enjoy. The most obvious problem is that make up that is less than fresh looks a bit less than fresh. Make up runs and smears over time. The powder and foundation settle into lines on the face and make you look older than you are.

Wash your face and free yourself of the cakes of make up. Instead you can run around the house in a fresh face a bit of tinted lip gloss. If someone comes over, a swipe of mascara is all you need to liven yourself up again without taking thirty minutes to paint on a new face. Being able to show your real face to the world is just as confidence-building as showing up with a full face of top-named cosmetics. It’s all about how you play your own make up games and how comfortable you are in your own skin.

Make Up Games and Experiments

There are some experiments that are hard to avoid, and when the urge strikes you to start getting a bit creative with your make up games, why not go ahead and indulge yourself? Make up games should be fun, but you’re young and it’s the perfect opportunity to try out different make up colors and patterns. Want to wear wild eye shadow? Give it a try! Want to try out something new and interesting with your lips? Why not! The beautiful thing about all of your different make up experiments is that you’ll turn out looking beautiful each time and then you’ll be able to find the tricks you’d enjoy using at school or work.

You can read countless books on make up and design, but until you actually start practicing with the make up items and learning how to use them to their best effects, it’s hard to know what really works and what doesn’t. Make up games require experimentation, and you should be experimenting when you play them. Buy bold colors and try new things as they come out on the market. This can be an expensive hobby, but you work with a friend who loves make up games, too, you should be able to keep the costs reasonable and enjoy just about every new item that comes along.

Make Up Games for the Holidays

The holidays are an excellent time to enjoy some make up games. Make up games are a perfect way to play around with cosmetics and other make up items to find the best look for you as the times change. Times change and make up styles change with them. If you’re going to try a new look, why not give it a try around the holidays? Not only that, but holiday make up tends to be a bit more creative and fun than the make up games you might play during the regular work day or school year.

The holidays usually include a bit of glitter and glam, and that’s just fun to do with the right make up items. Plan for the holidays by checking out the latest make up items in the drug stores or talk to the specialists at a cosmetic counter. You’ll find yourself enjoying beautiful new looks and fun make up items without needing to commit to the long term – you’re just free to enjoy what you want to wear with your make up games – no problems at all.

Make Up Games and Confidence

Isn’t it funny how much confidence we can get from make up games? Simply apply a bit of mascara and blush and suddenly you feel more pulled together and ready to take on the world. Make up games tend to have this effect on us since they make us more pulled together and showcase our assets while downplaying any faults. You’re able to hide the things that bother you and then bring out your best features using just a few clever strokes of the brush or wand.

Make up games make it possible to develop a smooth, clear complexion in just a few minutes per day. Suddenly you have dark eyelashes that make your eyes pop right out of your face. Big bright eyes help to downplay anything we might not like on your face. Concealer and highlighter help you play hide and seek with great and not so great areas on your face – get rid of blemishes with make up games just as easily as you can make yourself look young and fresh. Make up games are a great way to boost your confidence on a daily basis and give yourself a nice way to finish off a look as well.

Make Up Games and Highlighter

One of the least appreciated make up games is using highlighter to really make your facial features pop. Generally speaking, highlighter is usually used by older women, but it certainly doesn’t have to just be a make up game enjoyed by women of a certain age. The highlighter has plenty it can do for all of us, and I don’t mean hair highlights . Highlighter helps you see the brilliance of your features and it helps those special features stand out to others as well.

Using highlighter is simple. The highlighter is a bit of sparkly concealer. The lighter color brings lightness and freshness to your features. If you dab a bit of highlighter on the inside of your eyes and just a bit along your eyes, you’ll see your eyes stand out a bit from your face dramatically. You can also use the highlighter near the tops of your eyelids to showcase the orbital bone and even on top of your cheekbones to make those bones stand out as well. Everywhere you use highlighter, you’ll be introducing a bit of lightness to your face making you appear youthful and glowing, even if you’re nothing f the sort.

Make Up Games Worth It?

Sometimes I wonder if make up games are really worth it. It’s hard to get motivated to put on a full face in the morning, especially if I’m short on sleep as I am most mornings. Who wants to put on mascara when you feel like rubbing your eyes every few minutes to help you finish waking up? But even when you’re tired there are some minimal steps you can take to be sure that you’re putting your best face forward.

Every girl should be using a moisturizer after washing your face in the morning. A quick trick is to use a tinted moisturizer instead of the regular one you might use. One that has a bit of color helps to even out your skin tone without feeling heavy like make up would. Once you have your tinted moisturizer in place, you just need a bit of lip gloss and you’re ready to hit the town. If you can keep your hands away from your eyes, you might opt for a bit of mascara as well, just to make those tired eyes really pop.
