Make Up Games for Springtime
This year, why not do some spring cleaning in your make up kit with some fun make up games? There is an expiration date on most your make up items, so you’ll actually be doing yourself a big favor if you go through your collection to find the old stuff, toss it out and then build a collection of make up that actually works, is stylish and is fresh as well.
Many times we collect make up based on what we get as handouts from others or from the bargain bins of stores. While there is nothing wrong with that, it’s nice to walk into the store and buy just what you need without worrying about what’s on sale or hurting anyone’s feelings. So do it! Give yourself a budget for the day and then head over to the drug store to try out some new styles and colors. Your make up games will not only show you some great new items to add to your collection, but you’ll be beyond stylishly presented as well in the latest trends.

Make Up Games for Teenagers
I work with teenagers every day of the week, and I’m always a bit amazed by some of the looks they pull together with their make up games. Growing up I learned that make up games were designed to help enhance your natural beauty and appearance. You aren't supposed to make your make up so outlandish that everyone knows you’re wearing tons. You’re supposed to make it look as though you just happen to be that amazingly beautiful.
But sometimes the make up games that the girls are playing now involve colors that are unnatural and plenty of glitter and sparkle. Sure, I get that you can wear something a bit wild to the clubs or out in the evenings, but many of these girls are wearing the bold shadows during the week. They are wearing it to Algebra class or softball practice. Perhaps what these girls need is a warning label in their make up games online. They should be told that some looks are only safe for the evening hours – and a bit outlandish while the sun is still shining.

Make Up Games and Funky Nails
I've made up my mind this week. I’m going for a manicure and I’m not going to leave until I have some seriously funky nails. I've been minding my own business with all of these various make up games, waiting for a look that suits me, and I think this is it. I want to paint my nails something really popular and stylish and apparently that means I need to find something a bit darker than what I’m used to. I, for one, am all about it!
In the winter my skin tends to look a bit extra pale and wimpy. Pairing it up with a dark polish like a burgundy or even a brown would make my nails really stand out and look great on my pale hands. I think the dark nail polish also helps jewelry to stand out, and with some of the various make up games that are so every the top right now, having something a bit lower key is easier for me to handle at least – I can paint my nails, even if I can’t paint glitter on my eyelids.

Make Up Games and Lipstick
Lipstick is an interesting item to follow over the years. For a very long time it was the go-to item in a woman’s make up bag. You simply didn't leave the house without your lipstick on. Generally speaking back then it was a bright color as well. Then we moved into the frosted lipsticks and finally into lip glosses. Over the years we've seemed to grow more casual about lipstick and what is considered fashionable and attractive.
Now, I’m pleased to say, we’re going back to the bright lipstick shades of the past. Bright red lips are once again considered sexy and attractive. That makes them an excellent candidate for make up games. As it turns out, not every woman looks good in the same shade of red lipstick. This is why there are so many different shades available.
Play make up games with the sample shades on your pinky finger to find the ideal shade for your skin tone. Then, buy the tube and continue to try out colors at home until you find the one that makes you feel confident, sexy and flirty at work – you’re good to go!

Make Up Games and Sweat
Sweating is undignified and not something we like to talk about very much. Unfortunately, sweating is also very much part of life for many of us. There isn’t much we can do to make the body sweat less short of getting acclimated to a new climate, but sweat does more than make us uncomfortable. It can also destroy your make up games.
Sweaty make up games are the worst because they feel gross, and the sweat building up behind your makeup can also make you break out. The trick to dealing with heat, sweat and make up is to choose your make up items carefully. For example, you’ll want to leave your skin free to breathe. A lightweight powder will help control shine without clogging pores. A bit of waterproof mascara will darken lashes and not rub off with sweat either. Also consider leaving your face bare in the heat of the day and just wearing makeup games at night to avoid sweating the make up off as well!

Make Up Games and Bright Eyes
It seems like everywhere I look these days there are bright eyes and even brighter eye shadow. The 1980's had bright blue eye shadow. but even those shades of blue are nothing compared to the bright colors that are dotting the eyelids of the fashionable set. Look in any fashion magazine or check inside the neighborhood high school and you'll find hot pink and crystal green eye shadow colors.
The bright colors are fun to wear and they make your outfit look even more interesting. If you were to put on a bright green sweater, you can easily complement that look with bright green eye shadow. Or if green isn't your favorite shade, you can enjoy the same amount of fun by wearing blue, purple or virtually any metallic shade you could ever possibly imagine. When it's all said and done, the make up games create a fabulous look.
